Farms that participate in the Milk performance test program have to control all their animals production.

For financial reasons, the Hérens Breeders Organisation has mandated on October 2005 the Swiss Holstein Association to carry out the Milk performance test program.

Thanks to this change of system, the breeders receive every month two information sheets with the results of the ultimate daily milk weighing, the current state of lactation, the projection of the 270 days lactation as well as the distribution of the cows according to their milk protein percentage and urea concentration.
